Lora is a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne. She and her husband have four adult children (two married), and a grand baby. She has spent the past 26 years investing in her family, including 16 years as a homeschool teacher. The years when her children were young and at home were precious years of her life, and she remembers well the emotions, the vulnerability, and the trials of pregnancy and having babies.
Lora is currently training through New Beginnings Doula Training, supporting families during pregnancy, labor and birth. Lora is a valuable part of any birth team, nurturing, observant, respectful and sensitive by nature. She is an advocate for affirmation, mentoring, and supporting. She is also trained in Postpartum Doula Support.
