Georgia (she/her) is a deep thinker, song-singer, Libra, and youngest of four. She is a graduate from IU Bloomington, where she earned a degree in Gender Studies and a minor in ASL Studies, before living in France for a year as a nanny and student. She lives with her beloved partner in downtown Fort Wayne and spends lots of time with her family and babysitting her two nieces. She is creative, sensitive, and relationship driven, which manifests in all areas of her life and especially in her work as a doula.
Georgia first learned about doulas in high school and has pursued doula work as a career ever since, knowing that supporting people as they navigate the process of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum was her passion. She is trained and certifying as a full spectrum doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings. Georgia’s approach to doula work is client centered and led, focusing on the whole person and their gestational and postpartum experience and healing. Through a trained lens of reproductive and social justice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care, Georgia will accompany you and advocate for you with an open heart and gentle presence, as you guide your own experience. She is equipped to support whatever kind of birth experience you desire and is excited to be a steady presence for you and your family, however your unique path unfolds!
